Ive been going to a lot more shows now in the past recent months to take photos. And Ive had people and friends mention seeing some of my pictures online that weren’t from me. I find it hard to care sometimes because I mean this site is kinda a cesspool of stolen images. And by posting them here I leave myself open to that sorta thing. But it is a little pathetic for people to steal an artists images just for something as useless as notes. Because to anyone who didn’t have a part in in that work it becomes so worthless. There are people who works on these images and spend the time making them/editing them/photographing them and then tagging and posting everything all to have that stripped away by somebody who had no part in any of that. It really does get annoying. I see images from some photographers and artists I follow and their images turn up every now and then covered in some hideous font of a bands lyrics. Or changed to black and white. Logos or signatures cropped out. Images sometimes re-edited completely and its sad. Something that makes this site so great is the ability to share so easily. It gives artists and creators a place to get immediate response to their work. It gives people a place to gain fans and followers. I mean all it really is, is a matter of respect. If you like someones work and want to post it on your site than the least you can do is credit them and leave their images unaltered. But if you really like an artist than just help them out and share the image directly from them.
